• Responding to inquiries and information requests, contacting you and sending materials
• Membership procedures, member management and information about the Cooperative’s activities
• Supervision and support under the Technical Intern Training Program and the Specified Skilled Worker system (coordination with implementing organizations, guidance on training plans, audits and visits, immigration procedures, training courses, daily-life support, etc.)
• Reports and notifications to government agencies, the Organization for Technical Intern Training and other bodies as required by law
• Understanding and improving how this website is used
• Other work required by law

3. Provision to third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties without your prior consent, except:

• where required by law
• where necessary to protect a person’s life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain your consent
• where cooperation is needed with a national or local government body, or a party entrusted by one, carrying out duties prescribed by law
• in other cases listed in Article 27(1) of the APPI

4. Outsourcing and use of overseas providers

We may outsource the handling of personal data to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In that case we select contractors carefully and supervise them appropriately.

This website is hosted by, and contact-form emails are sent through, cloud services of providers located in the United States (Vercel Inc. and Resend, Inc.). We take necessary and appropriate security measures based on an understanding of the personal information protection system in the United States.

5. Cookies

This website may use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to analyze usage. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect data, which does not identify individuals. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.

6. Security measures

We take the following measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal data.

• Organizational: a person responsible for handling personal data is appointed and handling is reviewed regularly.
• Human: staff receive training on handling personal data, and confidentiality obligations are set out in work rules.
• Physical: areas where personal data is handled are controlled, and measures are taken to prevent theft or loss of equipment and documents.
• Technical: access rights are restricted and communications are encrypted (SSL/TLS) to prevent unauthorized access.
• Understanding the external environment: when personal data is handled in a foreign country, we take security measures based on an understanding of that country’s personal information protection system.
